Dr. Ben Hayes' expertise and interest in dermatology are wide ranging and include general dermatology, skin cancer, contact allergic rashes, laser surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. He did his undergraduate work at Davidson College and then completed a PhD in Immunology and Pharmacology. He pursued his medical degree at Boston University Medical School where he graduated with honors and was inducted to Alpha Omega Alpha national honor society. Finally, he completed a dermatology residency at Vanderbilt University where he served as chief resident in his final year.

He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, National Psoriasis Society, American Contact Dermatitis Society, and Tennessee Dermatology Society. But more importantly, he is married to the love of his life Laura and they are blessed with Madison, Jackson, Annabelle, and Sullivan Hayes.


Chris W. Robb, M.D., Ph.D. is the co-founder of Spring Hill Dermatology and has been in practice since 2007. Pursuing a career in infectious diseases, he obtained a B.S. in biology from Baylor University and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch. His Ph.D. research focused on vaccine development and viral and bacterial infections. After achieving his Ph.D. in 1999, Dr. Robb matriculated into medical school at Texas Tech Unversity. During his medical training he discovered dermatology was a perfect synthesis between his interest in skin diseases and his Ph.D. background. Dr. Robb graduated medical school in 2003. He finished his transitional year in Internal Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas from 2003-2004. After finishing training, he entered the Dermatology Residency at Vanderbilt Univeristy, where he served as chief resident his final year. Dr. Robb graduated from the Dermatology program in 2007, at which time he co-founded Spring Hill Dermatology.

His areas of expertise and interest in dermatology are broad, and include general dermatology, skin cancer, common and rare rashes, laser surgery and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Robb takes special interest in skin cancer surgery and cosmetic dermatology. He has numerous publications and continues to be involved in clinical and basic science research. Dr. Robb makes a concerted effort to employ the most up-to-date treatments for both medical and cosmetic dermatology. He is affiliated Maury Regional Hospital, Williamson Medical Center and Vanderbilt University.


Ryan Sullivan, M.D., received his bachelor’s degree at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky and earned his medical degree at the University of Tennessee. He completed his internship and residency at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, affiliated with the University of Tennessee’s college of medicine. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology at the University of Kansas City, Kansas.

Dr. Sullivan is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.

Dr. Sullivan has taken an active part in several community outreach programs to help underserved children with asthma and has served as a camp counselor at Tennessee’s Camp Wheezbegone, a summer camp for kids with severe asthma.

Dr. Sullivan and his wife, Jennifar, have three children and have returned to Tennessee to be close to family. He stays busy playing with his kids and enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, horseback riding and golf.
